Christine K. Pastilong, O.D.
Owner and President
Dr. Pastilong has a true passion for her practice and thoroughly enjoys caring for her patients’ vision. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn., in 1995 and has been heavily involved in the industry ever since. Her commitment to furthering her education and leading her peers has proven that Dr. Pastilong is an exemplary professional in her field.
In addition to her roles as a student and leader, she is also a proud member of the Northwest Society of the Optometry Association of Louisiana, in association with the American Optometric Association. When she is not practicing optometry, Dr. Pastilong is an active member in both her church and her community. She also enjoys spending time with her family, partaking in long-distance running, snow skiing, cycling, traveling, golfing and dancing.
Rebecca joined our practice in 2005 after working in ophthalmology for 7 years. She is currently Bossier Family Eye Care’s office manager. Rebecca received her Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) certification in July 2008, and her Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA) certification in February 2009. She is a member of the Optometry Association of Louisiana since 2011, where she held the Northwest Para President office from 2011-2013. Rebecca is very passionate about her work and her patients. Rebecca works with patients that need specialty contact lenses. She loves everything about the eye care business. She will make sure that you receive the best service while you are visiting our practice. Rebecca is married and has 3 amazing kids.
Front Desk Coordinator
With over 20 years of Optical experience Betty joined Bossier Family Eye Care in 2004. She has worked in all aspects of the Optical. Betty is currently our optician frame stylist she enjoys pairing patients with the perfect set of eye glasses. It is hard to leave in a bad mood after spending a few minutes getting fitted with Betty as her laugh and overwhelming positive spin on life can be infectious.
